Gavin rings over 30 years of invaluable industry expertise to the organization. With a proven track record in leading multi-trade construction contractors and achieving international growth, Gavin is an innovative and strategic executive who drives business success.

Gavin’s remarkable career began in General Contracting in 1990. Gavin then then went onto join the State Group Inc. where he held various positions from 1997 to 2018. He excelled as the Vice President, General Manager, Manager of Internal Operations, and Operations Manager in the Caribbean. His extensive experience in civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural steel contracting spans across all sectors of the construction industry, ranging from residential to industrial projects. In 2019 he became VP Electrical with Modern Niagara Inc. in Toronto until joining TESC.

With a deep understanding of strategy, planning, business operations, process improvement, and innovation, Gavin consistently applies his knowledge and skills to pursue continuous improvement and execute business activities. His ability to establish new businesses, joint ventures, and drive growth of existing business lines showcase his aptitude for building brand awareness within the industry.

Gavin’s expertise extends beyond project execution. He possesses comprehensive experience in contract management, negotiation, procurement, financial management (P&L, WIP), business development, and customer relationship management. His proficiency in planning and executing domestic and foreign diversification and growth strategies has proven instrumental in expanding operations and maximizing financial performance.
