Senior Project Manager

TESC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team for upcoming opportunities across a variety of industrial construction projects. This is an opportunity for professionals who are passionate about leading complex projects, developing high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional results in safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.

Candidates must be willing to travel to project sites, including out of province, and work a variety of rotations and schedules based on operational requirements.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Project Manager, you will provide overall leadership and direction for industrial construction projects from planning through closeout. You will be accountable for project performance while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading projects to achieve safety, quality, schedule, budget, and contractual objectives.
• Managing project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Providing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to project personnel.
• Overseeing project planning, execution, resource allocation, scheduling, and reporting.
• Monitoring project performance through cost controls, productivity tracking, and schedule management.
• Managing project budgets, change orders, contract modifications, and progress billing requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Identifying and resolving project risks, challenges, and disputes in a proactive manner.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable legislation.
• Championing a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement initiatives across all project activities.

What You Bring

We're looking for a proven leader with extensive industrial construction experience and a track record of delivering successful projects.

Qualifications include:

• 20+ years of construction industry experience, ideally within the industrial sector.
• 15+ years of project management or leadership experience in construction.
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong understanding of construction budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial management.
• Demonstrated success leading large, complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling principles and software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
• Willingness and ability to travel and work a variety of rotation schedules as required.

The expected pay range for this role is $68 - $75 per hour.  

Individual standard pay is determined based on several factors including education, experience, unique skills, specialized training and certifications.  When applicable, a job-specific allowance may be paid in addition to the standard hourly rate to reflect particular assignment requirements, including site conditions, location, or the complexity and scope of the work. Any applicable allowance will be identified separately in the offer.
